Oxygenators

Houseplants are excellent oxygenators because they engage in photosynthesis, absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen, which improves indoor air quality.

Some studies* have shown that plants like snake plants and peace lilies can also remove toxins, further purifying the air. This cleaner air can enhance cognitive function, making houseplants ideal for study environments. Their presence is also linked to reduced stress and increased productivity, creating a more calming and focused atmosphere.

Research from NASA's Clean Air Study* supports these findings, highlighting certain houseplants' air-purifying capabilities . Other studies indicate that exposure to greenery can boost concentration and well-being.

Treat your mind and body to one of our gorgeous oxygenators:

  • *Oxygenation and Air Purification: NASA’s Clean Air Study demonstrated that houseplants like Sansevieria trifasciata (snake plant) and Chlorophytum comosum (spider plant) are effective in removing toxins such as formaldehyde, benzene, and ammonia, which contributes to better air quality and increased oxygen levels indoors (Wolverton, B.C., et al., 1989).

  • *Enhanced Study Environment: A study by Lohr et al. (1996) found that the presence of indoor plants can improve concentration and task performance by reducing stress and enhancing mood. In addition, Bringslimark et al. (2009) highlighted that the presence of natural elements, like plants, can boost cognitive function and overall well-being, promoting better focus in study environments.
